| The "Kent Coast Express" descends the 1 in 30 gradient to the Harbour Station. This scene may soon be consigned to history, as the branch, which sees only 1 train a week is threatened with closure to allow for the re-development of the area. Only seconds before the train arrived (29 mins late) the whole scene was bathed in winter sunshine! Oh the joys of railway photography. |
