You're not from around here, are you?
An equipment move to Raritan Yard on NJ Transit's Raritan Valley Line yielded this strange visitor to the line. ALP-44 Electric 4412 was paired up with GP40PH-2B 4217 as it enters the yard on the former Jersey Central Mainline. The track crew working nearby (in the left side of the photo) paused to watch this stranger roll by. Notice the lack of overhead catenary that this locomotive normally needs for propulsion. |
