| M340 rolls south on the Missabe Sub bound for the Belt Railway Yard in Chicgao, IL. Here the train passes the old depot at Saginaw, just north of the siding at Coons. Between Sheldon Junction and Nopeming Junction CN thru trains can use either the (ex-DMIR) Missabe Sub or the (ex-DWP) Rainy Sub to get north or south. CN uses that 60 miles as double track in either direction to keep traffic moving around MofW and the Iron Range trains. |
