| Built in June 1988, NYSW 4006 was only 2 months old when it hit a dump truck filled with sand in late July 1988 while pulling a 1988 NRHS Convention excursion in New Jersey. I think the accident was in Vernon. As seen here, unit is in Binghamton in transit to GE Erie for repair. Today this is P&W 4003. |
