| While it's fairly common to see BNSF switch jobs shoving baretables into First Street Yard, this is the first time I've seen it done with road power. A GEVO and a Dash 9 share the duties today, passing the Amtrak facility just out of frame ot the left. This is the "105 Job," and it is often utilized to make space at Hobart to allow for the influx of Monday and Tuesday inbounds. The colorful warehouse across the LA River was once used as an annex by Sears to ship catalog orders from. |
