Another train of "empty buckets" is departing the Ft. Worth area and glides effortlessly through Saginaw as this BNSF frieght with 120 cars returns to the Powder River Basin. It's the "dog days" of summer in Texas where temperatures routinely exceed the 100 degree fahrenheit mark for days at a time and 2011 was no exception. Coal is the primary fuel used to generate electricity in Texas and its continuous supply is crucial to prevent the Lone Star state residents from losing their cool. |
