Remarks & Notes |
WC 6652 and 6602 speed around the curve at Rugby Junction with train 46. The 6652 wore an untouched ATSF warbonnet scheme and kept its Santa Fe number for quite awhile when it first came to the WC, it then was given number 6652 and had a tasteful WC stencil on the nose and below the number on the cab. Later after someone reportedly still mistook the unit as a ATSF locomotive it was given this almost Soo "bandit" like scheme with the big SANTA FE on the sides covered in a red square of paint. Thankfully after this it soon was sent in for a full WC scheme. |
