Remarks & Notes |
Standard-gauge style pointwork is seen at Szalajkaház, the terminal of the extension of the Lajosháza branch on the Mátravasút (the 760-mm-gauge network centered on Gyöngyös) on 15 May 2010, just two weeks after opening the line to the public. Three days later the line was washed away by floods caused by torrential rain and it reopened only on 8 September 2012! The loco in the background is a standard bogie diesel loco, number Mk48-410 of Mátravasút. |
