| Amtrak's City of New Orleans eases into Switch Tender Jct in Jackson, Miss. after departing the station just out of sight. The eastbound KCS train in the distance will wait a little while longer as the engine crew on board AMTK train 59 and a CN Road Foreman of Engines places a worn out ex LMS CW40-8 in the lead due to loading issues with P42 66. Switch Tender will soon lose it's reputation as being an all manual junction between the IC/CN and KCS. New signals are seen in this view along with the Switch Tender himself who wasn't too thrilled about the idea. |
