Remarks & Notes |
The photo was taken in the quartz sand pit owned by ZAO "Quartzit". This enterprise is a part of a big old mine holding that has made a bad break in the middle of 2000th.
There is Takraf ERs-710 on the right side of the picture. It's an absetzer that has 44 buckets connected in a circuit. This is high performance machine, that can load 11 65-tons dump cars in 20 minutes. It was made in the end of 1980th.
In the good time the breaked holding had about 12 excavators like this. Currently only this machine is at work.
The railway track is a temporary. At action Takraf goes along it. When the excavator comes to a wall of a pit, railway track is moving. There is a special machine for this operation in this pit that can move tracks without their breakdown. |
