Remarks & Notes |
This Bud's for You! IATR 54 rolls past the Budweiser distributor in Mason City as it heads for the shop at Emery. Anheuser-Busch introduced its signature Bohemian lager in 1876, just twenty years before founding of the Mason City & Clear Lake Traction Company, predecessor of the Iowa Traction. IATR 54 is a 50-ton steeplecab built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in May 1923, a time you couldn't even buy Bud due to prohibition. |
