"Morning Eastbound through Wyckoff"
As I laid awake in bed on a warm Spring morning I heard horns echoing from the nearby crossings on the NYS&W. After assessing the situation I concluded that this must've been the evening Sparta job running East with a new crew due to the time of day it was running. With the traffic on Route 23 at its peak for rush hour, catching up to this train would be no easy feat but alas, the train and I crossed paths in Butler. While this was a good sign, the odds were still stacked against me as traffic was as bad in town as it was on the highway. Fortunately for me I was able to get ahead of the train before it reached Wyckoff and shot the local passing the Wyckoff station in beautiful morning light! |
