About a half a mile east of this location near the now daylighted Tunnel 28, the RBBB Circus Train stalled out due to only having two of their three motors online for fuel conservation. Once the crew contacted the dispatcher about stalling out, they put the second motor online and the train started right up the 2-percent grade. Here, the train enters a sun pocket as it blows for the HWY-72 grade crossing in Pinecliffe, Colorado on June 13, 2016. They will hold the main here and meet the eastbound Amtrak California Zephyr.
