| Linwood- Oyama (Hickory) local P61 begins the day's journey by tackling the grade up Yadkin Hill. On this day, P61 featured a quartet of four-axle 38-series motors, two of them being high hoods of Southern Railway ancestry. As if this train didn't look good enough, the sound of four roots-blown 645s lugging a heavy train up the hill sounded even better! |
