| Amtrak Empire Service 284 from Niagara Falls to New York City rolls down the new second track that Amtrak is installing between Albany and Schenectady to ease congestion. The train is powered by the newest Empire Phase III repaint. The long abandoned eyesore/landmark Tobin's First Prize meat packing facility (operated from 1924 to 1981) is in the background. The long string of tank cars are for on one of the 2 West Albany yard leads and are waiting to go into West Albany yard for unloading. |
