During Amtrak's 1981-82 evaluation of Bombardier LRC equipment, the squat little LRC locomotive and two cars making up Boston-New Haven semi-local train 153, the Beacon Hill, pause at Providence, RI, while a northbound conventional train occupies the adjacent track.
