| During May 2003 no one foresaw that this scene would be dropped into the history books come the summer of 2018. It was common sense to know the SD50s would become a rare sight but in May of 2003 it was just another day at CSX's Tilford Yard. Q541 with SD50 8537 slowly creeps toward Pine Street for a crew change as CSX SD70AC 774 leads an empty coal train north for the trip to Etowah. (Slide Scan) |
