Heavy cape gauge 4-6-4 tank steamlocomotive of the Feilding & Districts Steam Rail Society, on the occasion of the celebration 100 years north-south main line of New Zealand at Feilding. The 1000 HP locomotive was built in 1927 by NZR Hillside. The WAB class with a maximum velocity of 60 miles per hour was used for short-haul main line freight services and fast suburban services, particularly in Auckland. |
