| On a warm saturday morning before attending a memorial for the late Dick Herbert, I trudged up to my old curve to see what southound was blocked to come through Alsen. A nice surprise in squeak sun was two UPs led by a "winged" ACE on a loaded ethanol. I couldn't help but think "Herbies" sprit was present in that winged yellow power as it rumbled past heading for Jersey. It would later past the Mine Dock Park at Fort Montgomery where the service was held for this legndary great photographer. You will be missed sir! |
