| Big Boy's Return: Union Pacific Big Boy locomotive 4014 rolls along the BNSF Cajon Subdivision near Helendale as it heads for the Los Angeles Basin. The locomotive is returning to California for the first time since it was fully restored to operation by the Union Pacific Railroad. For over 50 year, the locomotive sat on display at the Rail Giants Train Museum at the LA County Fairgrounds. The weekend of October 12 and 13, 4014 will pull a special excursion as a fundraiser for the museum. |
