It's the morning of March 2014, NS 116 (Chattanooga,TN-Bellevue,OH) is running at a top speed of about 45 mph on the outskirts of Spring City, TN (MP 285.5) on the busy CNO&TP 3rd District. Before the days of Precision Schedule Railroading, run through power was a common sight on trains especially on the Cincinnati Southern, and this day was no different like any other day in the year 2014 as NS 116 is being led by one of the early version of the Evolution series GEVO that is sporting the BNSF Heritage 2 paint scheme.
