| One of the best places on the this 10 mile section of the Chattanooga Sub on Raccoon Mountain where you can get a train at a sweeping curve is at Aetna Hollow at Whiteside, TN (MP J-137.6 Whiteside). CSX Q154-28 ( Fairburn,GA-Memphis,TN) is doing that exact thing on the main 2 track. Seeing a pair of YN2 painted locomotives is becoming a must see thing now as this paint scheme is dwindling in numbers since this paint scheme made it's debut in 1990....."Wow!" The YN2 pan scheme become the popular paint scheme among railfans. With locomotives being sent off to be retired of rebuilt this iconic scheme is fading into the newer CSX "Boxcar Logo" image. |
