Amtrak’s Winter Park Express ski train arrives at Winter Park, Colorado, amid a heavy snow that just moved in on March 13, 2020. In a few moments, the train will be spotted and loaded with passengers for the return trip to Denver Union Station. It turns out that this is the second-to-last run of the WPE, its season cut short by the threat of coronavirus and the early closing of Winter Park ski resort.
