| On a warm morning, the crew ease through the southeast interlocking of Mechanicville Yard to make a quick set out on the rear of the train before heading east to tie down for a Pan Am recrew later in the afternoon to head to Ayer. The colorful Virginian has made several visits to NY State over the years both on NS on the former B&M and also on CSXT over the former Water Level Route in oil train service. It remains another favorite of mine. |
