| Missouri weather and scenery can often be boring when it comes to hunting for photo spots, and this shot was really not what I had in mind for the evening, but after we got here and I came over to this side of the tracks, I saw some potential. Plenty of times I've watched a dramatic scene fade into darkness before I ever had my chance to get what I was after. Thankfully this evening was different. This Southbound with three different BNSF unit models rolled passed and met a Northbound that was waiting in siding at Cedar Gap. This evening was especially nice because God blessed me with pretty decent timing and both this train and the Northbound passed before the sun set. A nice change to the usual outcome I face when waiting on a train at sunset. |
