| CSX K442-26 rolling alongside I-24 this evening on the double main at the OWA 138.9 milepost. After crossing the NS at 23rd street, the empty Chicagoland bound ethonal train eased through what was left of the NC&StL's Cravens Yard. Along the gigantic rock cut that can be seen from I-24; sits the Lookout Mountain Cave. From the very beginning the NC&StL mainline ran right up against Lookout Mountain and the river. If the cave here could talk, just imagine the stories it could share. I always have wanted to see this cave in person and found the perfect time to do so with the ideal train approaching. Luckily a Transflo employee allowed me to park on their property to allow me to walk back to the cave.
