The Southern California Railroad Museum (formerly the Orange Empire Railroad Museum) has assembled a nice collection of diesel locomotives that have been nicely restored, including to operating condition. One of them is Union Pacific E8A 942 (ex-METX 510; ex-RTA 501; ex-CNW 510; née-UP 942), seen being laser-measured for Rapido Trains (note the laser on the tripod on the right of the photo). Thanks to the volunteers at the SCRM for being so accommodating! (Perris, California – June 11, 2020)
