Morning Splendor at East Portal
Repeat attempts finally paid off on the 6th. Even still subzero temps chill me to the bone as I patiently wait here in full exposure to the 14 thousand foot Divide before me. Maybe more than a dozen attempts since November of this year to get a train at the right time. After 0815 and not after 1030 and in my usual fashion as much snow as possible. Not as easy as you might think. I’m pretty happy I was able to get it finally. And the opportunity to share it with the railpictures family is a privilege. |
