| Metro-North 4905 accelerates out of the curve just west of Suffern station, leaving a light blue exhaust haze in its wake. The Port Jervis-bound train is passing Norfolk Southern's Hillburn Yard which was fairly crowded on this day. It appears most of the cars are covered hoppers for Bay State Milling. NJT's Suffern Yard is empty, save for a few loaded ballast cars on Yard 1, but that will change as rush hour progresses. |
