| The Savanna to Mason City local hands these 2 units working their tails off as they work west on the Mason City out of Marquette. Here the job comes out of the Wapsipinicon River Valley east of Ionia. With lots of rock, anhydrous ammonia, and potash, this guy had more loads than empties on this 4400 foot train. Heavy washouts on the west end of the railroad is why they all this rip rap is on the head end. The train is only 40 miles from Mason City. |
