"Hickory Creek at Bronx Park"
On December 10th, 2024, former New York Central 20th Century Limited Pullman Observation Car, "Hickory Creek" trails on the rear of Metro-North Railroad's annual Holiday Train as it ducks under the East 204th Street-Bronx Park bridge on the Harlem Line in the Bronx borough of New York City.
Metro-North's Holiday Train runs for two to three weeks during the month of December every year with upper management, stopping at all crew sign-up & mechanical locations to hand out small gifts and say thank you to the railroad's employees. This year, the train consisted of two 40th Anniversary heritage-wrapped P32AC-DM locomotives (MNCW 211 in New York Central & MNCW 214 "Employee Appreciation"), two of Metro-North's "business" coaches and three former New York Central URHS private cars.
