Canada Invades San Bernardino. On a beautiful, clear winter's day in Southern California, a colorful BNSF manifest passes the original, 1918 built San Bernardino depot. Bringing up the rear of this high priority, Barstow, CA, to San Diego, CA, manifest are two Canadian National locomotives - CN 3304 and CN 3154. These foreign power units, in addition to the MRL 4301 and CN 3104 out of sight on the head-end, made for one colorful train dropping down Cajon Pass and into San Bernardino that is normally filled with orange and black BNSF power.
