MTA Metro-North Railroad 222 (New Haven Heritage). MTA Metro-North Railroad MNCW 222 made its revenue debut. This unit commemorates an early New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad locomotive paint scheme with its distinctive script logo. This is the sixth Metro-North Railroad wrap, and it joins the four Connecticut DOT New Haven (McGinnis/Matter) tribute units. Appropriately, the unit made its debut on the Danbury Line facing south. Later, it met up with another heritage unit and the famed former New York Central URHS Hickory Creek in Poughkeepsie, New York.
