Havens New And Old. On Monday, April 7, 2025, MTA Metro-North Railroad's newest heritage wrapped locomotive, MNCW P32AC-DM 222 (1950s New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad), was leading train 943 to Wassaic, New York as it passed a train of M8s deadheading to Grand Central Terminal for rush hour service on the New Haven Line. The trains passed at the Fordham Station, by the vintage New York Central Railroad station house in the Bronx, New York. Trains from the New Haven Line have utilized trackage rights over this portion of the Harlem Line under a variety of corporate banners since 1848.
