Remarks & Notes |
Central American Rail Tours special on the FES climbing the hill between Sitio del Nino and Santa Ana. The "railfan" seat on top of the boxcar is actually an open air cupola normally used on the rear of freights. The 112 is an ex-IRCA engine and equipped with knuckle couplers. The original FES engines in service then still used link and pin couplings. The knuckles were slotted to accomodate both types of couplings. |
