| A Speno rail grinding vehicle is parked for the evening near the Pasadena Ave Crossing in South Pasadena Calif. in 1989. The Santa Fe gave up its 3rd District line in 1991 to all regular freight service thru the area. Thirteen years later the Metro Gold line reinstated a portion of the line with local passenger service between Downtown Los Angeles and Sierra Madre.
