A four car set of Metroliners approaches the junction controlled by Morris Tower in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. This is the point where the Trenton Cutoff diverged from the Northeast Corridor. The Trenton Cutoff was the Pennsylvania’s freight bypass of Philadelphia, rejoining the main line at the iconic flying junction near Whitford.
