Remarks & Notes |
A westbouind SEPTA push-pull set led by AEM-7 No. 2302 arrives at Whitford station, coming to a stop underneath the massive 1906 built pin-connected Parker through truss bridge. Built for the PRR, the 375 foot bridge was part of a bypass known as the P&T (the Philadelphia and Thorndale Branch) which paralleled the main line between Frazer and Thorndale. Sadley, it was abandoned by Conrail in 1989. |
