Vermont Rail System operated The North Pole Express, weekend trips chartered by The Lyndon Freighthouse on December 7 and 8. Using the Green Fleet cars, VRS assigned CLP GP38-2 204 to the trains that operated from downtown Lyndonville at the Freighthouse, to roughly Mile 28, not quite 10 miles north of town and return. The train is seen here at Lyndon, skirting the Passumpsic River on Sunday, December 8.
