| A Herzog ballast train rounds the wye in Irving, Tx before putting away the ballast cars in a small yard within the wye. They had spent their day dumping ballast on sections of track that had been upgraded to concrete ties and new rail. This is part of an ongoing project to replace most of the TRE corridor between Dallas and Fort Worth with new concrete ties. |
