With only 24 cars for Dalton, CSX A704-11 “Dalton Turn” is cruising south on the south on the outskirt of Ringgold, GA. This job will make pick-up and set-off for A701 to work the next day. The A704 will run back north and pick up off the Tyner Branch before ending the day at Wauhatchie Yard. For the longest time as far as I can remember, A704 was based out of Calhoun, GA making the 5 day a week run north to Chattanooga and back following the same pick-up, and drop-off pattern. Since the implementation of PSR it was decided there was no need for a road local to be based out of Calhoun and moved the local job to Wauhatchie Yard.
