On January 7th, 2023 the Mass Bay Rail Enthusiasts chartered a special train on the Conway Scenic Railroad. The trip featured the matching Boston & Maine 1949 F7As owned by the 470 Railroad Club.
The train is seen at Notchland performing a slow run-by. This location is as far west as the train goes on this excursion. A washout just up the track prevented the crew from doing the full run-by that had been done at this location in previous years.
Beautiful mountain scenery has made this small state a draw for rail buffs to ride the Mount Washington Cog Railway and the Conway Scenic, among others.
