Locomotive First.
Metro-North Railroad's Holiday Train flies over the Harlem Line on its way from New Haven to Mott Haven. This is one of the few times a P32AC-DM will lead a train in this direction, as push-pull trains are arranged with the locomotive on the north end, facing out of Grand Central. The middle three cars are Metro-North's three business cars: two of these are former Erie-Lackawanna tavern lounge cars from Phoebe Snow trains, and the third is ex-New York Central. CDOT P32 no.s 229 and 230 (GE Genesis, 1992-2001) bookended the train.
