| Originally built for the Santa Fe, then sold to the LS&I, here it is still in LS&I colors but then a paint out occurred for the Green Bay and Western after they received it. The Green Bay and Western sure loved Alco's. I remember their shop foreman telling me they preferred them over EMD's as they were better suited to maintain Alcos. |
