A pair of SD60s on the Cedar River got me out for a midday chase southbound on the Osage Sub. This job most days runs with 1 unit. The past couple of weeks, traffic has been on the increase, and the job has been moving a lot more cars. The SD60s are in high demand in Iowa because either they are needed for the kickers on bulk trains or local service, or they don't stay running. This job rarely gets 2 SD60s, but 25 corn out of Toeterville, 15 DDG loads out of Mona, and a handful of empties from Osage, Waverly, and St. Ansgar have this job loaded down today.
