Aside from one short chase of them westbound a few years back, I've never really made much of an effort to find BNSF's Madison local on the Hanley Falls Subdivision. With a sunny Monday morning and nothing much better to do, I decided to meander toward Madison to see what I could find. I came across the train west of Boyd, but it was running east only as light power. The H1 leader looked pretty nice, though, so I made a little chase out of it, nabbing it here as they trundled past the large elevator that still stands in Boyd. I'm sure this was once a nice customer for the Minneapolis & St Louis Railway, but it appears that the switch has been removed for a while.
