| Weighed down with a unit ethanol train and extra DDG cars, this Council Bluffs freight lumbers into Newton. The job passed the beautiful ex-Rock Island Depot. The train has 2 GEs in a 1x1 DP setup with a GP38 barking for all its might as a kicker. The depot was built in 1912 and was shut down for passenger service in 1980. I believe it is a business now and was getting some TLC on this Sunday morning. |
