Take note that P42 185 has, on its drawbar, a leased, and retitled, Amtrak Superliner coach, betrayed by the deep, flat panel under the upper windows and single entry door. In addition, the differing corrugation pattern on the second coach, compared to the trailing three cars, indicates it was from the Amtrak California order that was built concurrently with the San Diego Corridor, Amtrak Surfliner fleet.
