This photo illustrates beautiful classic French engine design in both form AND livery.
Much prettier and you can tell what European country it's from just by a quick glance.
Unlike all the standard locomotives that roam across Europe these days.

Yes you are right...Those days were much much better!Now the European network is filled with traxx/siemens locos with confusing private oparator livery's....Anyway this is one my favorite locomotives...Classic school!
