This shot is great. Really digging this scheme. Not sure how nice it'll look when it's dirty.

Wow, at the rate that the pictures of this unit are flooding in, its like chasing a steam train! I think this is gonna be a fun year for railfanning Amtrak and its Heritage!

Hmm. Did Amtrak make a mistake ditching this paint scheme? In my opinion, uh huh.

The Capitol Limited passes by my office window and today I caught a glimpse of this locomotive after it passed by, not getting a clear view of it. I was wondering why the paint scheme was different.

Add the missing silver/ gray stripe between the red and the black and follow the lines on the cab and this would be much more impressive - still, can't complain. Looks sharp. Time to repaint the passenger cars, now! Nice shot, Brad.

Long live the eighties. Why-ever was Phase 3 retired? Bring them beautiful stripes back systemwide, I say.

Nice shot Brad. Scooter and I were up on the other side of the crossing shooting him, and I like the fact he saw everyone and flipped on the marker lights coming into town.
